Lease Extension Calculator

In order to be eligible for an extension to your lease you will generally (although not in all instances) be required to fulfill the following criteria:
  1. To have owned the property for 2 years
  2. Your lease must have been greater in length than 21 years at the time of issue
Please enter the Unexpired Term of your existing Lease in years (for example, you might have 99 years of a 125 year lease remaining)
Please enter the average annual ground rent you pay, in whole pounds. If payments increase over time, just use the current payments for now (for example, 100 per annum)
Please enter the current market value of your flat with your existing remaining lease term
Please enter the market value of your flat with the new, extended lease (existing term plus extension). If you don’t know this then you can try a number of options. Look for examples of similar flats with longer leases in your area.
